I'm Luke Diehl, an audio engineer dedicated to bringing people's visions to life through sound and music. I truly love collaboration, especially when multiple media forms converge to create something extraordinary. I believe in the transformative power of audio, enriching any piece of media with mood and tone.
With experience in audio editing, mixing, mastering, and sound design, I've served as both director and sound engineer for productions at the Edmonton Fringe Festival. I've also developed original music for live performances and crafted intros for podcasts and various short animations. I have recently been active in Alberta based game jams and have some experience in game design, and writing.
I have a deep fascination with retro and 80's-themed creations. Growing up, retro video game music captivated me and sparked my passion for audio. I'm amazed by what composers achieved with the limitations of analog technology at the time.
The feel and tone of 80's dance and electronic music resonate deeply with me. I'm inspired by the profound impact 80's music and video games had on today's music landscape. Exploring modern interpretations like synthwave music and art continues to fuel my creativity and admiration for the era.
Currently, I'm focused on developing and producing a compelling narrative through a fiction podcast series. Let's connect and explore how we can elevate your projects through the magic of audio!
